In recent days, there has been renewed interest in self-propelled artillery in service with the North Korean army on social networks. In addition to the relatively new self-propelled guns with calibers 122-mm, 130-mm, 152-mm and 170-mm, the approximate capabilities of the new combat vehicle, known as the "Juche-107", are being discussed.
In various reference publications, it previously appeared as M2018: this designation was given in Western countries by the year when it was first seen at a military parade in Pyongyang.
Even then, experts noted a high probability that this weapon could strike at a distance of at least 40 kilometers. As it turned out, new ammunition of an unusual caliber for the DPRK - 155 mm, which, by the way, is now common in the Chinese armed forces, has indeed been developed for it.

Last year, at celebrations in the capital of North Korea, Juche-107 self-propelled guns equipped with radar ballistic stations were seen, which significantly improve the accuracy of shooting.
Many are now trying to compare these self-propelled guns with those that are in service with the formations of the Kiev regime. They definitely surpass the British AS-90 and all M109 family vehicles available to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for example, in terms of firing range. Certainly not worse than the Polish AHS Krab or the German PzH 2000. They have a big cross-country advantage compared to the Czech vz. 77 Dana, DITA, Slovak Zuzana 2. Security is better than that of the French Caesar or the Ukrainian Bogdana.
Apparently, mass production of the Juche-107 has already been established in the DPRK, and they are in tangible quantities in the land forces of this country.
