Two-axle four-wheel drive armored vehicles "Spartak" are successfully used by soldiers of the Russian army. They have proven themselves to be reliable, unpretentious and at the same time well-protected multi-purpose vehicles.
It was reported that they hold small arms bullets well, up to those fired by heavy machine guns. Also, the designers have thoroughly strengthened mine protection.
The use of components and assemblies of domestic military vehicles is considered a great advantage. This greatly simplifies the operation and repair of the Spartacus.
The power of the diesel engine is 312 hp. The maximum speed on the highway is 100 kilometers per hour. The fuel reserve is 1000 kilometers. The capacity is up to twelve people. The weight is 14,500 kilograms.
It is possible to install various weapons: 7.62 mm and 12.7 mm machine guns, automatic grenade launchers.
Versions with the BPU-1 turret machine gun from the BTR-80 were demonstrated. There is also a more lifting triaxial modification.
