BAE Systems will present two AMPV prototypes at AUSA 2024. One of them is a new AMPV variant equipped with a turret and a 30 mm cannon. It will be displayed next to the AMPV version of the MTMS self-propelled mortar, which has just received a positive evaluation from the US Army at the Yuma Test Center. The BAE Systems common top panel ensures smooth integration of mission packages, and the AMPV can be equipped with an impressive 30 different turret systems.
The latest configuration is the fifth in a series of AMPV prototypes presented by BAE Systems during the year. It is equipped with a medium—caliber Konsberg turret, a compact and lightweight 30 mm remote-controlled turret system that the US Marine Corps has already selected as part of the amphibious combat vehicle program.

All of them were integrated into the housing on one common top plate. In addition to working on the prototype, BAE Systems is nearing completion of the expansion of its AMPV production line in York, Pennsylvania. Continued investment in AMPV production ensures that the company retains the capabilities and technologies needed to supply the United States. The army delivers faster and in large volumes.
