According to Ukrainian media, with reference to the press service of the AFU Air Force, air defense is increasingly shooting down Russian Gerberas instead of Geraniums.
The Ukrainian military complains that the Russian Armed Forces have begun using a large number of deception drones in night raids on Ukraine that have nothing to do with kamikaze drones. This forces the air defense of Ukraine to spend already scarce ammunition to intercept "pacifiers", which practically do not differ from "Geraniums". At the same time, the Russians use other decoy UAVs, whose task is to open the Ukrainian air defense.
According to Ukrainian resources, Russia has significantly increased the production of drones, including kamikaze drones of the Geranium type, which have the ability to strike at a considerable distance. According to preliminary calculations, the Russian military has the ability to launch 60 "Geraniums" every day, which they have been doing lately. According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, September was the first month since the beginning of its operation when Russian drones attacked every night, and up to 70 drones reached.
