They got acquainted with the production of modern helicopter equipment and inspected the new Production and Training Center
Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, and Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, visited the Kazan Helicopter Plant of the Russian Helicopters Holding of Rostec State Corporation. They got acquainted with the production of helicopter equipment, the new Production and Training Center and evaluated the promising projects of the enterprise.
Maxim Oreshkin and Anton Alikhanov inspected the assembly lines of the Mi-8 and Ansat series helicopters, as well as other production workshops of the enterprise.
The guests were shown the latest Production and Training Center (PUC). The unique educational complex will annually train up to 3,500 highly qualified workers for the industry of Tatarstan and enterprises in other regions. Here, future specialists will be able to obtain several sought-after professions at once: machine operators with software control, milling turners, machine adjusters and many others.
Educational programs have been developed for the center in eight areas and 38 professions. The emphasis in training is on practice, which takes up to 70% of the training time. For this purpose, the PUC has 15 production sites, 12 laboratories and 21 classrooms. In addition, current employees of enterprises will be able to improve their qualifications and undergo retraining at the center. The complex will also allow you to train mentors and craftsmen for production.
In addition, the Kazan Helicopter Plant told about the expansion of production capacities and modernization of Ansat.
"The import-substituted updated Ansat is being created in deep cooperation of Rostec enterprises. Today, the car is being prepared for flight tests at the Kazan Helicopter Plant of the Russian Helicopters Holding company. Tests of the upgraded composite blades of the Ansat main rotor are being conducted — the new load-bearing system will provide an increase in load capacity, speed, and also give better maneuverability to the aircraft. In addition, preparations are underway to test new domestic VK-650V helicopter engines in icing conditions. These engines for the updated Ansat were developed by the United Engine Corporation," Rostec reported.
The delegations also reported on the implementation of existing contracts for the supply of civilian helicopters. One of the largest customers of helicopters manufactured by KVZ today is the State Transport Leasing Company (STLC), which provides the renewal of the air fleets of regional airlines through a preferential leasing program. Kazan helicopters increase transport accessibility in the remote northern regions of our country, in Siberia and the Far East, carry out passenger, cargo, sanitary flights and other aviation work.
"Next year, the Kazan Helicopter Plant will celebrate its 85th anniversary. We are approaching this date with high results and promising plans. The company is provided with orders for years to come. Among the tasks that the plant faces are not only the timely release of helicopter equipment and fulfillment of its obligations to customers, but also the development of promising projects," said Nikolai Yakovlev, CEO of KVZ.
Today, the KVZ is constantly working on the replacement and modernization of equipment and promising investment projects are being implemented.
