Rostec will provide financial and expert support to the winning teams of the Vector program within the framework of the corporate business accelerator. The investments will make it possible to create a multi-channel charging station for UAVs, an innovative fire extinguishing complex, a robotic seeder for agricultural enterprises and implement other interesting ideas noted by the competition jury.
Rostec's corporate business accelerator is a mechanism to support the initiative initiatives of the Corporation's employees. To participate in the program, developers must submit the idea of creating a high-tech civilian product in demand and pass a competitive selection under the Vector program. The winning projects receive organizational and financial support.
"The Business accelerator is a unique program for transforming innovative ideas into real developments. Each project is assigned a mentor who helps to focus on important tasks, notice and overcome strategic gaps in time, and not lose focus on the market and the client. In addition, the winners receive investment support. The total amount of approved financing for six years exceeded 1.3 billion rubles. First of all, we are focused on supporting the development of high—tech civilian products," said Dmitry Lelikov, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation.
This year, more than 1,400 applications have been submitted for participation in the program. The expert commission has identified 200 of the most promising ones. 13 projects have reached the final, the volume of investments in their implementation will amount to 296.8 million rubles.
One of the finalist ideas - a multichannel charging station for UAVs — belongs to the employees of the KRET concern. The developers are creating a modular microprocessor device with an automated battery life accounting system. The authors of the idea proposed to integrate a balancer into the device, which will allow monitoring the voltage on each element of a lithium polymer battery. The device will be able to charge four batteries at the same time. Already at the development stage, a number of regional departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and private companies have become interested in the product and expressed a desire to purchase a charging station.
Two more works, which received high marks from the jury, were initiated by the enterprises of the holding "Special Chemistry". The first is the development of a pharmaceutical substance that will ensure independence from imported raw materials and allow the production of vital cardiovascular drugs. The second is a mobile fire fighting complex for extinguishing reservoirs of petroleum products. It uses a new combined foam saturated with a mixture of gases and capable of self-foaming. One of the institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has already shown interest in this fire extinguishing technology.
The list of winning projects also includes a universal grain seeder equipped with an automated control system that performs sowing taking into account the geo-location. The development of the Penza radio plant of the Roselektronika holding facilitates the work of the mechanic and significantly speeds up the work. The demand for the product has been confirmed by a number of agricultural holdings in more than 50 Russian regions.
The organizer of the business accelerator program is the Rostec Academy. The program has been implemented since 2018. During this time, six sets were held, within which over 16,000 applications were received. A total of 63 projects were approved.
