The small missile ship Typhoon, built at the Zelenodolsk Shipyard for the Black Sea Fleet, went to undergo all necessary tests. This was reported by the press service of the enterprise.
The ship was towed to an external delivery base, where it must undergo factory and then state tests, following which it will become part of the Black Sea Fleet. The end dates of the tests and other information are not reported, but it is assumed that the Typhoon fleet will be transferred before the end of this year.
Previously, ships built in Zelenodolsk were sent to Kerch for completion and testing, but due to the threat of defeat as a result of Ukrainian strikes, the ship could be sent to the Caspian Sea. This information is provided by the bmpd blog. The factory itself does not comment on this in any way.

MRK Typhoon is the fifth production ship of this project, laid down in September 2019 in Zelenodolsk, launched on May 7, 2024. It is designed to conduct combat operations in the near sea zone and participate in the performance of tasks in peacetime and wartime independently and as part of ship groups. Length — 67 meters, width — 11 meters, draft — 4 meters, displacement — about 800 tons, cruising range — up to 2500 miles, autonomy — 15 days. The main armament is one PU UKSK (universal ship complex) 3S14 RK "Caliber", one 76 mm AK-176MA artillery piece, two 30 mm AK-630M or ZRAK Pantsir-M artillery pieces, two 14.5mm MTPU machine guns.
