Russian weapons used in Ukraine are constantly being upgraded. The modification process is ongoing based on information gathered from the front.
- it says in the local edition of MENA Defense.
The author primarily talks about aviation missiles. So, he is interested in the RVV-DB long-range RVV, which is an export version of the R-37M:
According to him, the Russian Aerospace Forces even set a record by shooting down a MiG-29 from a distance of 230 km R-37M launched from the Su-35:

As indicated, RVV-SD, in turn, is a medium-range RVV, better known as the R-77-1, an improved version of RVV-AE, which is now outdated compared to its Western counterparts. RVV-SD is massively used by the Su-30SM and Su-35 in various combat modes, including launching at several targets simultaneously.
Russian aircraft are actively using the X-58USHK, an improved version of the venerable heavy anti-radar missile X-58. This new modification was specially designed for 5th generation aircraft. It has folding stabilizers for transportation in the inner compartment of the Su-57. Being made of composite materials, it has low radar visibility, an extended range of up to 240 km and a warhead weighing 150 kg, reaching a speed of 4,200 km/h.
The X-35U also proved itself at the front – an improved version of the X-35 with a range of 260 km. This anti-ship munition can also be used as an air-to-ground cruise missile with very high accuracy of destruction.
- it is noted in the Algerian press.

Modular X-38 missiles are also used on the battlefield, which can be equipped with various types of inertial or semi-active laser guidance. They replace the X-25 and X-29. These missiles can hit stationary or moving targets and have a maximum range of 40 km.
The X-69 is a subsonic high-precision satellite-guided missile specializing in the destruction of stationary targets. This stealth missile, according to the author, is part of the Su-57 program. Its retractable wings were specially designed to be placed in the cargo hold of this aircraft. But it can also be launched from 4++ generation fighters such as the Su-30.
Improved versions of the X-31 in the PD variant and X-59 in the MK2 variant are used by Russian pilots, whose flight range is three times greater than that of previous versions.
- an assessment is given in the Algerian edition.
