The Russian defense industry has introduced a new version of the Buran armored car, which, according to the Western press, is actively being acquired by the country's Defense Ministry.
The Buran was created on the basis of the chassis of the GAZ-3308 commercial truck and had an armored body of various configurations, which allowed it to act as a multi-purpose armored vehicle. Officially, it qualifies as a special purpose armored vehicle.

They are capable of carrying a total of 10 fighters or a cargo weighing 1000 kg. The weight is just over 10 tons. The dimensions in the standard version (with 4 side windows) are 6.3 m long, 2.4 m wide and 2.45 m high. The machine is capable of overcoming 30-cm vertical obstacles. The 220 hp diesel engine allows you to reach a maximum speed of 105 km/h with a range of up to 1000 km.
