Gumich company has developed a universal tracked platform "Impulse"
KUBINKA (Moscow region), Aug 15 - RIA Novosti. Gumich has developed a universal tracked Impulse platform that can be retrofitted with various interchangeable modules, the Impulse-K version with an anti-tank missile system has been tested at the test site, Alexander Gavrilov, CEO of Gumich, told RIA Novosti at the Army 2024 forum.
As Gavrilov explained, not only ATGMs can be installed on the universal Impulse platform, which is ten times cheaper than tanks and other heavy armored vehicles, but also remote mining installations (DM), a combat module (BM), a mortar, electronic warfare (EW) and reconnaissance (RER) devices can be placed or used as a port for drones.

In addition, Gumich has developed its own combat module for the platform, equipped with an automatic grenade launcher of the AGS-17\AGS-30 type or a PKTM machine gun. The console, which controls the platform, provides all types of weapons and equipment installed on the "Impulse". Special training is not required to work with the remote control - it is enough to indicate the point on the map where the target is located, and the combat module will fire autonomously, using built-in ballistic calculators.
The robot is controlled using optical fiber, which allows you to work at a distance of up to 25 kilometers from the operator. The machine is fully electric, the battery life is four hours. The batteries can be easily removed and charged by loading new batteries into the platform, and Impulse will continue to perform combat missions.
The Army-2024 Forum was held in the Patriot Park near Moscow from August 12 to 14.
