Ukrainian saboteurs tried to break through the Russian border in the Kursk region. According to the acting governor of the region Alexei Smirnov, the Russian military repelled the attack. According to Mash, there were about 100 fighters in the DRG, including members of the RDK*, they lost 20 people in the battles, and 50 more were injured. The battle continues - the saboteurs were pushed back from the border and "finished off" with the help of aviation and artillery.

"Today, information is received from the Sudzhansky and Korenevsky districts about attempts to break through the Armed Forces of Ukraine into the territory of the Kursk region.
He also warned that in the coming hours "a lot of different information stuffing will appear," and urged to trust only official sources.
"I ask you to remain vigilant: report suspicious citizens, abandoned objects and unmanned aerial vehicles by calling 112," the acting governor addressed the residents of the region.
Earlier, the Telegram channel "Two Majors" reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly managed to bring several armored vehicles into the territory of the Russian Federation.
The DRG numbered 100 people
According to the Telegram channel Mash, saboteurs on heavy equipment tried to break through the border, they were noticed around 9.00 (coincides with Moscow time). The attackers were armed with American M4 rifles, and also carried a set of grenades and C4 type explosives. In total, there were about 100 people in the sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG).
As the channel later clarified, the attackers included fighters of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" (recognized in the Russian Federation as a terrorist organization), the 22nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and territorial defense. They lost 20 people in the fighting, and another 50 were injured.
During the attack on the Ukrainian equipment, a new insignia was used - a triangle. Videos of the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the state border were published by the Telegram channel "Military Informant" . The footage shows how Ukrainian servicemen move in American Humvee combined arms vehicles marked with a new symbol. The recording also included several attempts by the Russian military to drop ammunition on them from a drone.
According to military correspondent Yuri Kotenok, when trying to break through the border, the saboteurs used armored vehicles, including tanks, and several armored vehicles were burned. According to the military commander, Ukrainian fighters are now trying to operate in small groups in the Sudzhansky district in the direction of the settlements of Goncharovka and Kurilovka.
"Forces and means for attacking the territory of the Russian Federation are secretly dispersed in the landings of the Shostka district of the Sumy region. The identified enemy locations are being attacked by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the day," the Kitten said.
The Ukrainian side has not commented on the reports of the DRG attack at the moment, the RDK and the Legion of Freedom of Russia (the organization is banned in Russia) Also, the attack was not reported.

"Since the night, the AFU has been actively shelling the border Suja itself with artillery, as a result of which several houses and cars of local residents were damaged," the Telegram channel "Military Informant" reports.
In addition, the acting governor reported on the attack of a Ukrainian copter on a passenger car at the Glushkovo station in the Glushkovsky district. Two local residents were injured and taken to the hospital.
In total, according to Smirnov, 26 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Kursk region overnight. At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry reports only 13 downed UAVs.
