To gain an advantage over a potential enemy, the US military is exploring the possibility of launching Uvision Hero 120 barrage ammunition from the sides of C-130 military transport aircraft. At the moment, such drones can be launched from various platforms, including land-based launchers and warships.

And when it will be possible to deploy these drones not only from land and sea, but also from aerial platforms, the versatility of the Uvision Hero 120 will allow them to be used for both conventional and asymmetric combat operations. The use of UAV data from the sides of military transport aircraft will ensure the necessary accuracy and power of hitting targets with minimal risk to their own personnel.
The C-130 Hercules, versatile and widely used by the US military, is distinguished by its ability to operate in various conditions and carry a significant combat load. By equipping such aircraft with Hero 120 barrage munitions or their analogues, the US Armed Forces gain a strategic advantage in various combat scenarios, including counterterrorism operations, support for units on the battlefield and rapid response to emerging threats.
