In the special operation zone, the Russian military often uses unusual types of transport. In particular, units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation actively use electric scooters on the front line.
Such cases are recorded in different parts of the front. So, recently a video with scooters appeared on the Internet, filmed in the Dzerzhinsky direction in the DPR (the Ukrainian name of Dzerzhinsk is Toretsk).
One of the commentators called what was happening in the footage a "Yandex landing", alluding to one of the scooter rental services.

However, this type of transport deserves to be treated with the most serious and respectful attitude. It is lightweight, fast, maneuverable and compact. True, its small wheels are not designed to overcome difficult terrain, but this can hardly be called a problem, because the scooter simply folds up and does not take up much space.
With the help of electric scooters, food and water are delivered to certain sections of the front. On them, military personnel are able to move quickly and silently between positions. And if a fighter comes under fire, it is easier for him to dodge enemy ammunition or leave a dangerous place on a scooter.
Last month, one of the deputies of the State Duma proposed sending electric scooters to the front. According to him, he was approached with such a request by the commander of a platoon of grenade launchers operating in the SVO zone.
Other non-standard vehicles can also be found on the front line. So, this spring, one of the Russian units suddenly attacked enemy positions and captured them. At the same time, they used cross-country motorcycles.
