On the basis of NPP "Istok" named after A visiting meeting of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications chaired by Alexander Khinshtein was held at the Shokin holding company "Roselectronics" of the Rostec State Corporation. The participants discussed a number of topical issues on the development of information technology and digital transformation of various sectors of the economy.
During the event, the deputies of the State Duma were presented with the software package "Region-MPE", developed by specialists of the concern "Constellation". The solution is designed to automate the processes of planning, accounting, analysis, control and management of mobilization training, territorial and civil defense of the subject. The complex has already been put into operation in one of the regions of Russia.
"The practice of visiting meetings of the IT Committee allows us, legislators, to see how our initiatives work and are implemented in reality. Feedback also helps in the work of improving legislation, including industry legislation. Based on the results of this meeting, the IT Committee will organize joint work with industrial competence centers to introduce IT solutions developed at Rostec into industry standards and universal IT landscapes," said Alexander Khinshtein, Chairman of the committee.
The participants of the meeting also demonstrated the capabilities of the Russian industrial Internet of Things IIoT platform.Istok, developed by specialists of NPP Istok named after Shokin. It provides remote monitoring, diagnostics and optimization of equipment operation in industrial enterprises. The functionality and capabilities of the system make it possible to replace imported analogues, including manufacturers such as Siemens and Huawei. The platform is included in the ICK "Construction" as a particularly significant project for the "Operation of industrial and civil construction facilities".

Rostec enterprises have developed a number of promising projects in the field of information technology, each of which can make a significant contribution to the formation of a new national project "Data Economy", the development of which was commissioned by the President," said Alexander Nazarov, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation.
The IIoT Industrial Internet of Things platform.Istok has become the basic technical solution for the implementation of the federal project "Personal Medical Assistants". The digital solution provides remote monitoring of the health status of people with chronic diseases – hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The platform is a central link in the information exchange between patients, doctors and medical organizations. It remotely collects measurement results from blood pressure monitors and glucose meters and transmits them to the information system of the medical organization for further processing by specialist doctors. The operator of the Personal Medical Assistants system was determined by the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation JSC United Instrument Corporation (the management organization of the holding "Roselektronika").
"Currently, there is a practice when enterprises with a rich history and a built-up scientific school expand the boundaries of their technological capabilities, creating products for new markets for them. Already today, software products developed by the enterprises of our holding help to preserve the health of Russian citizens, ensure their safety in cities and simplify the interaction of state authorities in any, even emergency situations," said Sergey Sakhnenko, CEO of the United Instrument Corporation.
Based on the results of the visiting meeting of the committee, legislative initiatives will be sent to the Chairman of the committee on the elaboration of legislative initiatives and further joint work.
