Rostec will support the innovative developments of its employees. The winning projects of the sixth set of the Vector program, the State Corporation's business accelerator, will receive funding. These include a neural network sensor for detecting attacks on information resources, a UAV engine control device, a laptop for monitoring the condition of power equipment, and others.
In 2024, 1,408 employees of Rostec enterprises applied to participate in the sixth set of the Vector program. The contestants presented their business ideas in high-tech industries in demand, including aviation, engine building, IT, fuel and energy complex and medical instrumentation. The expert jury assessed the scientific, technical and commercial potential of the projects, identifying 200 works as the most promising. 8 developments became winners.
"The rapid development of society and the need for import substitution place high demands on the competencies of employees in creating high-tech products. Our task is not only to develop skills and uncover talents, but also to give an employee the opportunity to see the end result of their business idea. Within the framework of the Vector program, we have built an integrated approach in which the initiative of a particular employee can grow into a strategic direction for the development of an entire enterprise," said Dmitry Lelikov, Deputy General Director for Investment Activities of Rostec State Corporation, chairman of the jury of the Vector program.
Within the framework of the sixth set, the expert jury paid special attention to projects with high import substitution potential, among which is the development of a device for controlling a DC electric motor of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The device is supposed to be created on the basis of the domestic 5400TP10 microcontroller. The new development will completely replace imported analogues. The author of the business idea is an employee of the A.I. Shokin NPP Istok of the Roselectronics holding.
Two more projects presented by specialists of the enterprises of the Roselektronika holding are the creation of a trusted laptop designed for operation in aggressive weather conditions and the development of a neural network sensor for detecting attacks on information resources (DDDS). It is assumed that the first development will use new circuit solutions for laptop modules and mainly Russian electronic components. The laptop will be able to provide a high level of information protection and will allow you to effectively perform various information and calculation tasks. The second development with the help of neural networks helps to detect a DoS or DDoS attack on Russian information resources that has begun, as well as promptly respond to it within two minutes without the need for the personal presence of a system administrator.
In the field of medical instrumentation, the winner was the project to create a digital portable tonometer. The device is based on the magnetodynamic method of pulse formation and is designed to measure intraocular pressure in adults and children. The product has a high potential for import substitution. Compared with analogues, the new product will have a high degree of accuracy and the ability to measure on two scales at once – Goldman (true pressure) and Maklakov (tonometric). Its author is an employee of the GRPP of the KRET concern.
The project for the development of a portable furnace by employees of the NPK "Techmash" enterprise was also among the winners. According to the authors, a mobile portable furnace powered by liquid fuel will provide heating of premises in bad weather conditions. The furnace is characterized by portability, as well as an efficient heating system that allows you to quickly light a fire and maintain the optimal temperature for heating the room for a long time. At the start of the project, the demand for the product has already been confirmed, and the technological capabilities of the enterprise allow us to complete the full production cycle of such furnaces.
The Vector corporate program is organized by the Rostec Academy. The first recruitment took place in 2018. During this time, six sets were successfully implemented, within which over 16,000 applications were received from Rostec employees. 58 projects became winners. All of them received expert and financial support within the framework of the corporate business accelerator. The annual funding limit is 300 million rubles, of which 140 million rubles this year will be allocated for the implementation of 8 projects. It is expected that the list of winners of the sixth set of the Vector program will be replenished with new developments in July.
