Military experts explained the increase in the effectiveness of Russian group precision strikes

Russia has launched a group strike with high-precision weapons at Ukrainian energy facilities. It turned out to be so strong that neighboring Poland lifted combat aircraft into the air for two hours. Experts say that Russia is depleting the Ukrainian defense industry and logistics, as well as responding to attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack energy facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation. What is the reason for the increase in the effectiveness of Russian strikes?

On Saturday night, the Armed Forces of Russia launched a group strike with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons at Ukrainian energy facilities and warehouses of Western aviation weapons. According to the Ministry of Defense, this was a response "to attempts by the Kiev regime to damage Russian energy facilities." The energy facilities that provided the work of Ukrainian enterprises of the military-industrial complex were targeted.

As a result of the retaliation strike, during which drones were also involved, all the planned facilities were hit. The air alert, which lasted about two hours, was announced throughout Ukraine. The intensity of the strikes was so high that Poland took its combat aircraft and allied aircraft into the sky. According to the operational command of the Polish armed forces, the border areas of Ukraine were also under attack, so last night turned out to be "very tense" for Poland's air defense.

According to the Ukrainian side, the Russian strike damaged energy infrastructure facilities in the south and west of the country. According to TASS, citing Ukrainian media, explosions were heard in Lutsk (Volyn region), near the city of Stryi (Lviv region), in Vinnytsia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. In the second, power outages began. The head of the Lviv regional Administration, Maxim Kozitsky, reported a severe fire at a critical energy infrastructure facility.

There was also information about a failure in the operation of a generating facility in the east of the country. The Ukrenergo energy company told about the damage to equipment at facilities in the Lviv region and in the Kiev-controlled part of Zaporizhia. Later in the day, an explosion at a thermal power plant in Kiev was reported on social networks and the media. Photos with a view of the CHP plant were posted in local public places, with black smoke billowing from one of the pipes. There were no official reports of strikes on the facility, and an air alert was not announced in the city during these hours. The Kiev city administration said that the CHP allegedly "works normally."

This is not the first group strike by the Russian Armed Forces against energy facilities in Ukraine over the past week. The Defense Ministry reported on a similar operation on Thursday. High-precision long-range air-based weapons and drones were used for the strikes. The goals of the strike were achieved, the department noted.

"This group strike on Ukrainian energy facilities was not only a response to the attacks of the Kiev regime. Attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector are happening all the time. These actions affect the remnants of the Ukrainian defense industry and the transportation of military goods. In particular, we are hitting weapons depots, drones," said military expert Vasily Dandykin.

He stressed the effectiveness of complex strikes due to various means of destruction. All this helps to solve problems in the Donbas, in particular in the Gorlovka direction.

"The intensity of our strikes will increase. Ukraine has already received carte blanche to hit our territories with missiles, and deliveries of F-16 fighters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine are approaching. Therefore, hot events are coming,

but Ukraine is not going to get anything," the source predicts.

According to Dandykin, Russia could use more drones, which will certainly be done in the near future. Thanks to the UAV, it is possible to overload the enemy's air defenses and increase the effectiveness of cruise missiles. "Now Russian missiles are flying along a difficult trajectory so that the enemy cannot shoot them down. Therefore, in addition to energy facilities and weapons depots, elements of the Ukrainian air defense fall under our attacks," the speaker added.

Warsaw's decision to raise aviation indicates nervousness in the ranks of the Polish military command. "So far, only a Ukrainian missile has flown into the territory of Poland. Poles are nervous because they don't want to be extreme in this story. This is all in the spirit of trying to demonstrate activity on the eve of the US presidential election, Poland really wants to get American F-35 fighters," Dandykin believes.

"The density of the passage of Russian missiles was such that all the Poles' oscilloscopes lit up, and they were horrified by what was happening.

There were two reasons for the group strike. This is our "response" to the attacks that the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted with Western missiles on our energy sector. The second is the de–energization of Ukraine, a blow to its defense industry. Russia is not at war with the civilian population, we are turning off the lights to the Ukrainian defense industry, which produces unmanned aerial vehicles and ammunition. This is the destruction of critical infrastructure in order to demilitarize Ukraine," said retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk.

On Friday night, several municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory were subjected to a massive attack by Ukrainian UAVs. As a result of the raid, four people were injured, the buildings of the Yuzhny bus station and a boiler room in Krasnodar were damaged. Ukrainian drones attacked Temryuk, Yeisk and Seversky districts. In the Temryuk district, debris fell on a hotel in the village of Volna. Several enemy UAVs were shot down in the village of Afipsky.

According to the expert, Ukrainian air defense systems are completely unsuitable for protecting energy facilities. "The air defense systems remaining in Ukraine since the Soviet era were used up or destroyed during the war. The air defense equipment supplied by the West is not intended to cover energy facilities," Matviychuk explained.

According to him, Russia uses drones extremely effectively during group strikes. "We use a variety of drones, create chaos in the air, overload the Ukrainian air defense system, which does not perform its functions to protect facilities. In the near future, I expect the confrontation at the front to intensify, the APU are going all in and throwing all their forces. But they will not be able to use the F-16 effectively, because for this there must be at least 80-90 cars in the sky, and four or five planes are just a warm-up for our air defense," the military expert is convinced.
