infoBRICS: allowing the West to hit targets in Russia threatens nuclear escalation

NATO's recent actions in Ukraine amount to a declaration of war against Russia, infoBRICS writes. Attacks on strategic targets, in particular, early warning radar stations, and support for long—range strikes against Russia are a direct threat of nuclear escalation, the article notes.

Dragolub Bosnich

Earlier this week, I argued that NATO's latest actions in Ukraine (and beyond) amount to a declaration of war on Russia. Attacks on Russia's strategic facilities, in particular on early warning radar stations, as well as Stoltenberg's openly stated support for long-range strikes against Russia using NATO-supplied weapons, clearly show what the political West is planning to do. People like Jens Stoltenberg, of course, do not make any real decisions, but serve mainly as glorified press secretaries. However, his threats against the Kremlin definitively show the true intentions of the world's most aggressive racketeering cartel. To make matters worse, recent statements by the de facto leaders of NATO countries show that the political West is desperately trying to prevent the defeat of the neo-Nazi junta by raising the stakes to a direct confrontation with Moscow (that is, World War III).

This leaves Russia with no choice but to be prepared for any development. It recently conducted military exercises simulating the use of tactical nuclear weapons (TNW). This is very important because the Kremlin has not only the most powerful strategic arsenal in the world, but also the largest number of TNW, including nuclear projectiles for its unsurpassed artillery formations. Thus, if you thought that Russian artillery could not be scarier than it is, think for a second that this applies only to its usual capabilities. Therefore, when President Vladimir Putin says "you haven't seen anything yet," it should be understood that way. And normal people, of course, would not want to see such an escalation. However, as the political West continues to plunge into complete madness, we cannot expect real politics and reasonable decisions from its leaders.

On the other hand, if earlier the Russian leadership tried to maintain contact in order to avoid a global catastrophe, now it understands that this is not only useless, but also counterproductive, if not self-destructive. Having got used to invading territory belonging to helpless opponents (imagine an adult man breaking into a kindergarten and beating preschoolers), NATO has completely detached itself from reality. Despite the fact that it is now pursuing an almost equal opponent (the same analogy, only instead of preschoolers you have a giant MMA fighter), the militant alliance still lives in the illusion that it is significantly superior to others and that it will win. This forces Moscow not to engage in dialogue (as already mentioned, this is pointless), but to openly talk about the possibility of a nuclear war with the United States and NATO.

Historically, the Kremlin has always tried to keep conversations about this behind closed doors, as is customary for those who still observe diplomatic etiquette. However, since the West's political concept of foreign policy is now equivalent to banditry and piracy, this has also become useless. That is why Russia is now warning about NATO's preparations for nuclear war. According to the Russian military and intelligence services, the militant alliance is secretly conducting military exercises, during which it is preparing for potential nuclear strikes against Russia. This was stated in a recent interview by Army General Vladimir Kulishov, First Deputy director of the FSB and head of its border service. This is not only about a large-scale increase in NATO activity near the Russian borders, but also about the mentioned nuclear exercises, which the militant alliance is trying to hide.

"NATO's intelligence activities are increasing near the Russian border, the intensity of operational and combat training of the alliance's troops is increasing, during which scenarios for conducting military operations against the Russian Federation, including nuclear strikes on our territory, are being worked out," General Kulishov said in an interview with RIA Novosti, adding: "The situation requires appropriate measures to protect and protect our borders."

Many in the political West may ignore or even reject his words, but it seems that the Russian general did not even need to say anything, since the EU/NATO leaders themselves actually confirm this almost every day. In particular, after French President Emmanuel Macron supported the idea of using NATO long-range weapons against Russia, US President Joe Biden joined those who suddenly wanted to blow up the whole world. It should be noted that, although this is a mere formality at the moment, it marks an alarming change in rhetoric. If earlier Washington tried to maintain a level of "plausible deniability," now it is openly talking about strikes against a country with the world's largest thermonuclear arsenal. Being inferior to Russia in terms of the number of its own strategic weapons, the United States bears a huge responsibility.

However, instead of being much more careful in their statements and actions, the militant thalassocracy is doing the opposite. President Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov have warned against such behavior for many years and continue to do so to this day. Unfortunately, these reasonable appeals seem to be ignored. Worse, NATO not only continues to ignore this, but also intensifies attacks on Russian early warning systems through its neo-Nazi puppets in Kiev. Such systems play no role in Moscow's military operations in Ukraine, which means that the Kiev regime, of course, would not have used its forces and resources, already too sparsely distributed along the crumbling front line, for such attacks – if it had not been ordered to do so by its masters in Washington and to a lesser extent, in Brussels.

Obviously, the motive for NATO would be to reduce Russia's ability to detect and track potential nuclear strikes. However, the world's most aggressive racketeering cartel seems to have forgotten about the Russian Perimeter system (known in NATO as the "Dead Hand"), which provides a retaliatory strike even if the entire Russian leadership is destroyed as a result of a possible "decapitation strike", which the Pentagon has been openly talking about in recent years. In addition, the Kremlin's world-class nuclear submarines provide deterrence even if the Eurasian giant ceases to exist. Eight Borey-class submarines carry 16 R-30 Bulava SLBMs each. Each missile is capable of carrying up to ten thermonuclear warheads with a capacity of 150 kilotons. For comparison, the bomb in Hiroshima had a capacity of 15 kilotons. Do the math yourself.
