X10D
The U.S. Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems Project Management Office (PM UAS) has begun transferring field quadrocopters to the troops. The first complex supplied to the army received the designation "short-range reconnaissance system" (SRR).
As indicated in PM UAS, UAVs increase operational flexibility and maneuverability on the battlefield by improving threat detection, determining safe routes and minimizing exposure to hazards.

The SRR is the first small–sized field quadcopter to be deployed throughout the army. At the same time, the SRR Tranche 2 system is already being created – we are talking about the Skydio X10D UAV, developed by the company of the same name.
It is claimed that the X10D will feature improved autonomy, a new controller, advanced cameras, modular and open architecture, which will quickly integrate new technologies and capabilities as the UAV continues to develop.

Cameras used by the promising X10D drone
As indicated, the X10D is the first small-sized UAV in history, which has a built-in FLIR Boson+ sensor, providing the highest quality thermal imaging and accurate radiometric readings.
The maximum flight speed of the X10D is 45 km/h, the deployment time is less than 40 seconds.
