Which enemy combat vehicles have already been hit
The multifrequency communication system created by the developers of the Piranha FPV drone effectively proved itself in the area of its own, Izvestia found out. The footage provided to the editorial board by the developer company shows the successful use of drones in conditions of intensive counteraction of electronic warfare. According to experts, the introduction of multi-frequency communication systems for unmanned aerial vehicles is vital due to the active use of electronic warfare by the enemy.
The Elusive Drone
Russian fighters began to effectively use Piranha UAVs with a new multi-frequency communication system in the area of their own. Izvestia has exclusive footage of their work at its disposal.
— Please note that in some videos the picture is crystal clear, while in others it is rippling. But ripples don't mean it's bad. The fighters didn't have any aircraft flying there at all. We recently supplied them with drones on our unique frequencies, which are not jammed by electronic warfare (EW). So they launched the first one, and immediately hit the target. Therefore, such a picture, even rippling, is excellent," the head of public relations at Piranha told Izvestia.
Of the latest achievements: with the help of Piranha, our UAV operators, in conditions of active use of enemy electronic warfare, destroyed an American armored car with a rocket launcher, a German Marder BMP, an enemy anti-tank grenade launcher SPG-9, a camouflaged mortar, an ammunition depot, as well as other enemy equipment and manpower.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that the developers of Piranha FPV drones have created a multi-frequency communication system that allows these drones to bypass enemy electronic warfare systems. It allows you to switch radio channels right in flight, depending on the needs of the operator.
— This development was carried out at non-standard frequencies, which gives an even greater advantage over the enemy. That is, electronic warfare cannot interfere with the flight of our device, since when jamming, the operator changes the frequency of the signal and continues to perform its task. This is really a breakthrough," the company noted at the time.
The video shows
In one of the videos, a Piranha attacks an APU ATV: a drone is seen approaching a vehicle on which two militants are riding. The picture is almost perfect — you can see the camouflage uniform — and it breaks off at the last moment, that is, during an explosion. The effect of the electronic warfare systems on the kamikaze drone is not felt or minimal.
In another video, a Piranha drone tracks down an APU passenger car, makes a U-turn and attacks it.

In the last few dozen meters of flight, the picture begins to ripple under the influence of electronic warfare, but its quality allows our operator to confidently hit the enemy's car.
The video of the destruction of the HMMWV jeep with a rocket launcher shows that the Ukrainian electronic warfare system affects the drone throughout the flight. But this does not prevent the operator from confidently aiming at the car disguised in the landing — as a result, the target was confidently destroyed.
Sword against Shield
The fight between the sword and the shield continues, in this case, the drone is a sword, and the shield is an electronic warfare device, military expert Yuri Lyamin told Izvestia.
— Such multi-frequency systems are needed, — he noted. — Just one of the main problems in the zone is that the enemy constantly adjusts the electronic warfare system to the most common frequencies used by FPV drones. And, of course, if a drone operates on one, even two popular frequencies, it is vulnerable to them.
And it turns out that even if UAVs are produced in large quantities, their effectiveness is leveled for the reason that in places where the enemy is actively using electronic warfare, UAVs simply fall down and do not perform their tasks.

Klim Dmitriev, a veteran of the electronic warfare forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, explained to Izvestia that it is necessary to implement these systems, and it is necessary to use those frequency ranges in which, at the moment, the enemy does not have electronic warfare equipment.
— Or use those frequency ranges on which the enemy conducts intensive radio exchange, — he specified. — All electronic warfare devices have broadband interference. It will most effectively affect the means of communication that are located near the enemy. And it is unprofitable for the enemy to use electronic warfare in those frequency ranges in which there is an intensive radio exchange.
According to the expert, it is important to take into account that the control channel has the desired range width, that is, the spectrum, and is moved as far as possible from the frequency at which the electronic warfare system operates.
— If the enemy has adapted to this frequency, and he knows that copters are moving at this frequency, he has electronic warfare equipment for these frequencies, broadband transmitters are used there. Accordingly, in this case, the effectiveness of the control channel will be lost. In this regard, the question of the possibility of frequency adjustment in flight mode is very relevant. Also, when forming a control channel for unmanned aerial vehicles, it is necessary to take into account the possibility of metered capacities. That is, if the drone is located near the operator, in order not to unmask the location, the power of the operator's transmitter should be lower. Accordingly, the further, the higher, — summed up the veteran of the electronic warfare forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
