Western military assistance to Kiev goes not only to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also to the Russian military. Sometimes it was possible to capture more serious loot, in particular armored vehicles, including Soviet tanks, which the AFU still had at that time. In the latter case, the equipment, depending on the condition, was already used by our fighters after recovery.
Now this kind of tradition has also touched Western armored vehicles. Another case of successful acquisition occurred during the fighting in the area of Novomikhailovka. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports that here the fighters of the Vostok group of forces captured a damaged FV104 Samaritan evacuation and sanitary armored vehicle supplied to Kiev by the British.

The FV104 Samaritan is a fairly old tracked armored vehicle developed back in the 70s of the last century on the basis of the British light tank Scorpion. The armored vehicle has been upgraded for evacuation, including mine protection, which increases the safety of the crew and the wounded. The car can carry up to six wounded, has a long range without refueling, which is almost 500 kilometers. The FV104 has no weapons, but is equipped with four smoke grenade launchers. In total, 100 such machines were produced, which makes this technique a kind of rarity.
