MOSCOW, May 8. /tass/. Captured tanks Abrams M1A1 and Leopard 2A6, exhibited on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow, became the most discussed exhibits at this exhibition among users of social media in Russia. This is evidenced by the results of a study by Brand Analytics, which are available to TASS.
"The main exhibits - both at the exhibition itself and in the social media - were the Abrams M1A1 (USA) and Leopard 2A6 (Germany) tanks. The leader in mentions is an American tank, its Russian-speaking social media users discussed it most actively (18.2 thousand messages). The German tank is in second place (15.7 thousand messages). The three leaders are rounded out by the M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle manufactured in the USA, which has gained more than 7.7 thousand mentions in social media," the study notes.
In addition to Leopard, the Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicle (6.6 thousand) also got into the list of the 15 most discussed units of captured equipment, ending up in fourth place.
The next lines were occupied by three exhibits manufactured in Great Britain - Husky armored vehicles (2.96 thousand) and Mastiff (2.96 thousand), as well as the Saxon AT105 armored personnel carrier (12.2 thousand). The rating also includes the Turkish Kirpi armored car (1.8 thousand), the Australian Bushmaster armored car (1.6 thousand), the Ukrainian Azovets BMPT (1.4 thousand) and the Mamba Mk2 EE armored car manufactured in South Africa (1.4 thousand).
The researchers analyzed more than 650 million public Russian-language messages from users on social media in the period from May 1 to May 7, 2024. Among the messages, 80.9 thousand mentions of units of equipment presented on Poklonnaya Gora were revealed.

About the exhibition
On May 1, an exhibition of equipment captured during the special operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened on Poklonnaya Gora. In total, 32 samples of captured military equipment are presented at the site, a significant part of which is made up of products from NATO countries. In particular, the Russian military delivered to the site such samples as the German Leopard 2 tank, the American Abrams, the Bradley BMP, the M113 armored personnel carrier and the MaxxPro armored vehicle, the Turkish BMC Kirpi armored car, the British Mastiff armored vehicle, the Swedish CV90 BMP, as well as various specialized armored vehicles, such as the American M88A1 repair and evacuation vehicle. In addition, the exhibition presents Ukrainian armored personnel carriers, Kozak armored vehicles, T-72 and T-64 tanks.
Also in the tents at the exhibition there are samples of small arms of the armies of foreign states, equipment of Ukrainian servicemen, communications equipment, anti-tank complexes, mines, drones. In the same place, multimedia screens show footage of the defeat of the exposed armored vehicles. For the convenience of visitors, information stands with data on Western manufacturing countries, tactical and technical characteristics, and the location and circumstances of the seizure of equipment by Russian military personnel were also placed at the exhibition.
