Specialists from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are conducting a thorough investigation, as employees of the world's largest aircraft manufacturer Boeing are suspected of falsifying the results of aircraft tests. The cases of forgery of documents during testing of long-range Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft are being checked.

This is reported by Reuters, referring to the FAA statement.

The management staff is trying to establish whether Boeing specialists have properly checked the quality of fastening and grounding at the junction of the wings of the aircraft with the fuselage. They have suspicions that some of these checks were carried out only on paper. In fact, such actions are a forgery of technical documentation and can lead to emergency situations.

At the moment, the manufacturing company is re-checking the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft that are in the process of production. In addition, preparations are also underway to eliminate defects in those aircraft that are already in operation.

Earlier last month, one of the engineers of the aircraft manufacturing company told reporters of The New York Times newspaper about the presence of serious flaws in the fuselages of aircraft of this modification. According to him, the problem appeared after changes were made to the technology of installation work on the assembly line.

And before that, it was reported about the impending resignation of Boeing CEO David Calhoun due to a series of incidents and accidents with the aircraft of this aircraft manufacturer.
