A large batch of Ukrainian-made armored vehicles entered service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the equipment was transferred to the 225th separate assault battalion. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The transfer of 40 Kozak armored vehicles took place in the rear areas of Ukraine in solemn conditions. The Kiev authorities staged a "show-off", driving the entire Minister of Defense of Ukraine Umerov, as well as the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Bergilevich, to the handover ceremony. Judging by the photo, the equipment was transferred in some kind of hangar so that it would not be visible from the air.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the 225th battalion received 15 armored vehicles in the Kozak-2M1 version and 25 multi-purpose armored vehicles Kozak-5. All the equipment was produced by the Ukrainian NGO Praktika, but it is not reported at which plant. But it is emphasized that all armored vehicles comply with NATO standards.

The Kozak-2M1 armored car is a modification of the Kozak—2M armored car for the Ukrainian airborne assault troops.
