The Rybinsk Shipyard Shipbuilding company launched the Haska-10 hovercraft onto the ice surface of the Rybinsk reservoir, thereby launching a full cycle of tests that will begin with mooring and end with delivery. This is reported by the press service of the Kalashnikov concern.
On April 9, 2024, tests of a skeg-type hovercraft with flexible skegs (SVPGS) of project 03660 "Haska-10" began at the Rybinsk reservoir. The vessel independently descended onto the ice cover of the reservoir with a maximum speed of 30 knots, after which it made a U-turn, returned and went ashore. As explained in the concern, Haska-10 begins full-fledged tests.
The start of testing of this vessel was reported back in 2022, but additional work on it and fine-tuning were required. Apparently, all the work has been completed. The vessel is being developed by Rybinsk Shipyard in cooperation with the Krylov State Scientific Center by order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia within the framework of the program "Development of shipbuilding and technology for the development of offshore fields for 2013-2030".
