The Ministry of Defense has published footage showing one of the sorties of the Su-34 aircraft with a suspension of four RBK-500 cluster bombs from UMPK.
The footage published by the defense ministry captures the moment of takeoff of an aircraft equipped with four bombs, as well as the dumping of RBK-500 from the UMPK at the positions of militants of the Kiev regime.

Each of the RBK-500 aerial bombs designed to destroy enemy manpower and light armored vehicles carries almost 600 cluster elements, the mass of each of which is about 400 g. Four such bombs, respectively, contain more than two thousand spherical cassettes equipped with striking elements.
Depending on the intended height of the bombing, a certain deceleration time is set on the fuse of the cassette. In the air, each of the spherical elements is unwound by special inflows on the body, thereby cocking the built-in fuse and thanks to these same inflows, they scatter over the area.
Upon impact with the ground, the elements explode, releasing 304 balls of 5.5 mm caliber, which provides an extremely high damage density. At the same time, it is almost impossible to hide from the damaging elements of a cluster bomb, not only in open areas, but also in insufficiently equipped defensive structures. Thus, the presence of the AFU militants in forest plantations, fields or other conditionally open terrain at any moment can result in significant losses of personnel.
This is a response to the supply of cluster munitions by the Americans to the troops of the Kiev regime.
