Moscow. March 26th. INTERFAX - Shvabe Holding is demonstrating long-range reconnaissance complexes, radiophotonics products, optical materials and other samples of its products at an industry exhibition that operates in Moscow, the company's press service said on Tuesday.
"In total, over 20 developments are presented at the exhibition," the message says.
Vadim Kalyugin, CEO of Shvabe, notes that the holding company shows at the exhibition developments for medicine, safety, emergency prevention and other solutions created by the efforts of scientists and developers of enterprises belonging to the company.
"They conduct a lot of fundamental research in the field of photonics, solve complex scientific and technological problems and develop Russian industry," Kalyugin said, as quoted by the press service.
In turn, Sergey Popov, Deputy General Director of Shvabe, head of the priority technological direction for optoelectronics and photonics technologies, noted developments in the field of photonics.
"Today, none of the strategically important technological areas can do without it. Our holding company conducts a lot of scientific research in this area," Popov said, whose words are given in the message.
According to the press service, the Shvabe stand, in particular, presents an intelligence complex with intellectual analytics "Checkpoint". The first fully domestic drone with a UAV400T thermal imager is integrated into the system. The development makes it possible to detect various objects in difficult operating conditions. The video image obtained from the camera on the drone is displayed in real time on a head-mounted television device (VR glasses).
Among the products implemented as part of the development of radiophotonics, in particular, a powerful single-frequency continuous semiconductor laser with distributed feedback is demonstrated. The use of such lasers makes it possible to create devices with high speeds of transmission and processing of information.
At the exhibition, you can see the MIM-N laser microscope, which is designed for early diagnosis of malignant tumors and analysis of the effectiveness of antitumor drugs. Laser technologies are also represented by a simulator for sports shooting. "This is the only domestic development consisting of a laser pistol and a sensor target. It was created by order of the Russian Federation of Modern Pentathlon to prepare for the competition," the message says.
The Shvabe exposition also includes various materials, substances and the electronic component base of photonics - optical fiber, a lightweight mirror made of silicon carbide and highly purified germanium tetrachloride used in the manufacture of preforms for optical fiber, as well as various photodetectors and modules of the infrared spectral range.
Among other optoelectronic devices, the holding's stand features a SWIR camera, with which you can see masked objects and people in zero visibility conditions, as well as a video thermal imaging monitoring and analytics system. The latter is used to detect and register malfunctions, for example, in the operation of thermal and electrical network equipment.
