"Being afraid means being respected. The ten most formidable systems of the Russian Army"

The true quality of military equipment is verified by combat experience. The Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST) has prepared a report "Afraid means respected. Ten of the most formidable systems of the Russian Army." We have selected samples of weapons and military equipment that have proven their highest quality in the battles of the largest military conflict of the XXI century. Our choice is confirmed by the assessments of leading Western analysts and military experts.

Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles are the eyes and ears of our army. With their help, Russian servicemen uncovered enemy strike groups even on the route of advance, which became one of the most important factors that made it possible to disrupt the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Azov region. Seeing these messengers of fate in the sky, the enemy prefers to hide, because they are inevitably followed by accurate artillery and air strikes or attacks by attack drones, such as the Lancet UAV, a high-precision weapon from which it is extremely difficult to hide. It is as accurate as our famous Kalibr cruise missiles and Kornet anti-tank missile systems, covered by the world's best Pantsir-S1 short-range air defense systems.

Two systems embodying the word "high-precision" in their own way are Vladislav Lobaev sniper rifles and the Ka-52 attack "sniper" helicopter. And where precision is not needed, but burning power is needed - the heavy flamethrower system "Solntsepek".

Finally, the fruits of understanding the complex experience of ITS own are the systems developed and adopted during the operation. Bombs with UMPC hacking the enemy's defenses and a line of "trench electronic warfare", in which we identified the "Breakwater" complex, which allows us to protect our equipment.

Each of these systems is the result of the work of hundreds of the best engineers, scientists, technologists, workers, organizers, managers of the Russian military-industrial complex, a real triumph of the Russian engineering school.
