The BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle with a 57 mm AU-220M automatic artillery mount in an unmanned turret was first demonstrated at the Russia Arms EXPO 2015 in Nizhny Tagil.
The 57-mm gun has a rate of fire of at least 80-120 rounds / min, a sighting range of up to 8000 m, vertical aiming angles from -5 to +60 degrees.

The ammunition of the gun is 200 rounds, 80 of which are placed in an automated ammunition box. There is a paired 7.62mm PKTM machine gun with 2000 rounds of ammunition.
Due to its high firepower and advanced fire control system, the artillery installation can effectively destroy all available Western infantry fighting vehicles, such as the M2 Bradley, Marder and CV90, as well as disable the main battle tanks of the Leopard 2 type when hit in the sides and stern.

The total combat weight of the BMP is 19300 kg. The engine power is 500 hp. The maximum speed on the highway is 70 km / h, afloat - 10 km / h. The crew consists of three people. The landing party consists of seven people, plus two additional seats.
