According to available information, after the Russia exhibition held at Moscow's VDNH, the Russian side became seriously interested in the Belarusian heavy UAV Burevestnik-MK, which was presented to a wide audience.
What is the new Belarusian tank like in terms of combat capabilities, technical and operational characteristics? The Burevestnik-MK is capable of performing both shock and reconnaissance tasks equally successfully (with the prompt transmission of the information received to command posts).
According to many military officers and experts, there are still a number of significant problems with the defeat and reconnaissance of targets at long distances in the area of their own. The enemy is almost unhindered in managing troops, making rotations, and supplying its troops on the front line with the necessary equipment and ammunition. Therefore, as they say, the devil is not joking. Probably, an affordable, by Russian standards, Belarusian drone will be able to successfully fit in, both for solving reconnaissance and fire missions in the deep rear of the enemy.
In figures, the TTX of the heavy Belarusian tank looks as follows:
– maximum take–off weight, kg - 320;
– speed, km/h:
– cruising – 80-125;
– the maximum is 250.
– powertrain power, hp (kW) – 62 (45.6);
– range of working heights, m – 200-5000;
– wingspan, m – 9.24;
– flight duration, h – about 10.
During the exhibition, special attention of specialized specialists was paid to the ability to guarantee high-quality transmission of information and communications over a range of up to 290 km (note: the Turkish Bayraktar-TB2 has up to 150 km). It is important that the transmission of the control signal to the UAV, as well as receiving intelligence information from it, is carried out in real time. Simply put, the signal delay is practically not felt even at such a serious distance.
According to the developer, the Burevestnik-MK reconnaissance and strike tank, which is in autonomous flight mode according to a specially designed program, is capable of covering more than 1,000 km in ten hours of flight, but this is not the limit. In the near future, this parameter is expected to increase at least one and a half times.
It is also worth noting that the operation of the Tank's monitoring equipment for conducting reconnaissance does not depend on the time of day. In conditions of direct radio communication, the maximum range of application is about 100 km, and when using two repeaters, the value of this characteristic increases by more than 5 times. In addition to the flight and navigation complex, the Belarusian-made tank takes on board about 80 kg of payload. Belarusian developers should only think about protecting communication channels and countering enemy electronic warfare. Probably, work is already underway in this direction. In this case, the drone will become a real "archangel of retribution."
And in conclusion, about the special load of the Burevestnik-MK. The drone is capable of carrying a special load in the form of guided and unguided missile weapons.
Thus, there is every reason to believe that in the near future we will be able to see how the Belarusian "Burevestnik" contributes to the victory of its own.
