The United States continues to pull additional forces to Israel, on Sunday, October 5, an Ohio-class strategic nuclear submarine ("Ohio") arrived in the region. This was reported by the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM).
The nuclear submarine appeared in the Middle East almost simultaneously with the aircraft carrier group led by the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69), it is possible that it is part of this AUG, although only one missile cruiser and several frigates were officially reported. The Americans do not disclose the name of the submarine, so it is impossible to say which missiles are the carrier of this submarine.

Classic Ohio-class submarines ("Ohio") are carriers of Trident II D5 fourth-generation three-stage ballistic missiles with a nuclear warhead in the amount of 24 units. However, some submarines of this class have been upgraded and become carriers of 154 Tomahawk cruise missiles. Both types of submarines periodically appear in the Middle East for a "show of force" and "warnings" to Iran.
At the moment, there are two US Navy aircraft carrier groups in the Middle East, a landing ship with a Marine expeditionary force, and now a strategic submarine. Washington states that they do not intend to interfere in the conflict, and the task of the assembled forces is to prevent "third countries" from interfering in the conflict.
