The undoubted advantage is that the "Sprout" can be deployed on the spot in a tank-like way - this happens due to the rotation of the wheels of different sides in opposite directions. Which is very useful during the fighting on narrow city streets, when the equipment goes through the passage laid, for example, by a tank with a trawl, etc.
Thanks to the reversible gearbox, the 22-ton machine can move backwards at the same speed as forward, which, as it turned out, is also important in intensive modern warfare.
