The Russian military in the zone of the SVO will receive tracked all-terrain vehicles "Plastun-CH", a batch of equipment specially made for the army, released by the company "Russian All-terrain vehicles Plastun" from St. Petersburg. This was announced by the company's CEO Erik Sagymbayev.
The tracked all-terrain vehicle "Plastun - SN" (Special purpose) was developed for the Russian army as an evacuation vehicle. The all-terrain vehicle is a novelty, it was introduced only this year, the run-in took place at the Test Center by US. It is a lightly armored all-terrain vehicle with combined protection of class Br3 (9 mm pistol bullet) and Br4 (5.45 mm with a bullet of increased penetration and 7.62 mm with a simple bullet). The all-terrain vehicle does not have a rigid roof, which allows for quick entry / exit or evacuation of the wounded.
It is assumed that these all-terrain vehicles will be used as evacuation vehicles, but they can be used, among other things, for reconnaissance or as a platform for an 82-mm mortar. Due to its cross-country ability, the all-terrain vehicle can be used in any weather. The all-terrain vehicle can freely move a group of eight people, when evacuating the wounded, two stretchers are placed in it.
