TSAMTO, October 30. The UAC (part of the Rostec State Corporation) summed up the results of the competition for projects to improve the production system.
The main award and the passing cup of the competition was received by the project "Reduction of assembly cycles of IL-76MD-90A product assemblies on the example of the GLASSES", developed by specialists of the Branch of PJSC IL - Aviastar.
The competition of projects to improve the production system of the UAC is held annually. Its purpose is to stimulate work to improve the efficiency of production processes using the principles and tools of lean manufacturing, exchange of experience and replication of the most successful practices and production solutions at all enterprises of the corporation.
This year, 38 projects aimed at optimizing both production and support processes of the corporation's activities were submitted to the competition.
Such a large-scale corporate competition was held for the first time on the territory of the production site of one of the UAC plants. Before that, the event was traditionally held in Moscow.
In his address to the participants of the competition, the General director of the UAC, Yuri Slyusar, said: "Aviastar became the first among the corporation's enterprises to hold a project competition. It was not by chance that we decided to hold a competition in Ulyanovsk – the results of Ulyanovsk aircraft manufacturers in the field of implementing lean manufacturing tools can become an example for the rest of the Corporation's production sites. We are facing difficult tasks to significantly increase production volumes. In these conditions, we need not only to increase production capacity and increase the number of personnel, but also to work on improving the production system, making it more efficient."
Dmitry Bloshchinsky, Deputy General Director of the UAC for Production and Technical Development, also addressed the participants of the competition with a welcoming speech: "We are witnessing a steady increase in the comprehensive indicator for assessing the level of development of the production system. This indicator is calculated and evaluated according to the methodology of Rostec State Corporation. According to the assessment of 2022, UAC is in second place among the holding companies of the Rostec aviation cluster. This is a very good result. It is especially pleasant that this indicator is growing, and I really hope that the time will come soon when we will take the first place," he said.
Winners of the Competition of projects to improve the production system of PJSC "UAC":
In the "Production" section, two projects became the best – the project "Reduction of assembly cycles of IL-76MD-90A product assemblies on the example of the OCC" Branch of PJSC "Il" - Aviastar – he also received the main award of the competition. As well as the project "Creation of a specialization center for the assembly of doors for civil aviation in the contour of the Production Center of PJSC Yakovlev, the Production Center of the Regional Aircraft branch of PJSC Yakovlev;
The project "Optimization of electronic design documentation management processes" of the branch of PJSC "UAC" - KnAAZ named after Yu.A. Gagarin became the best in the section "Design, design support and LI".;
In the "Supply chain" section, the project "Improving the process of planning, delivery and delivery of non-metallic materials to production" of the branch of PJSC Il - Aviastar was recognized as the winner;
In the Sales section, the winner was the project "Standardization and automation of the process of processing applications from the Customer" of the branch of PJSC "Il" - Aviastar;
In the "Service maintenance" section, the project "Optimization of the use of thermal energy in the Electroplating shop" of the branch of PJSC "UAC" - KnAAZ named after Yu.A. Gagarin was recognized as the best;
In the section "Management processes and supporting processes", the winner was the project "Improvement of the quality management process of manufactured products" of the branch of PJSC "Il" - Aviastar.

"Project with the best economic effect" – project in the "Production" section: "Improving the efficiency of the ZSHP workshops" – branch of PJSC "Il" - Aviastar;
"Universal project" – project in the section "Management processes and supporting processes": "Improvement of the recruitment system" – branch of PJSC "Il" - Aviastar;
"Quick effect" – project in the "Production" section: "Organization of provision and application of compensating gaskets during the docking of the wing caisson with the MS-21 center section" – IAZ - branch of PJSC Yakovlev;
"Audience Sympathies" – the project "Development of occupational safety culture" – The Production Center of the Regional Aircraft branch of PJSC Yakovlev.
