A large hydrographic boat of the 19920 Boris Davydov project was laid in Blagoveshchensk in the interests of the Russian Navy. The solemn ceremony was held at the "Shipbuilding Plant named after the October Revolution". This is reported by the press service of the government of the Amur region.

Boris Davydov is the sixth large hydrographic boat of the 19920 project, laid down at the Blagoveshchensk SSZ for the Pacific Fleet. The previous five boats are already serving in the fleet, the fifth boat was transferred to the military in April 2021. In addition to the Blagoveshchensk plant, the BGC of this project is also building the Rybinsk SSZ Vimpel. In addition, one boat of this project for the Baltic was built by the Oka shipyard.

The sixth BGC will be built with changes in the project, which were introduced already on the fifth boat. Unlike the first four, this boat will have more modern electronic equipment. A three-beam echo sounder will be installed on the vessel, thanks to which it is possible to study the bottom relief, as well as a navigation system capable of automatically plotting a course for the vessel according to the specified parameters. It is planned to transfer the boat to the TOPF in the fourth quarter of 2026.
