The trucks involved in the SVO will receive enhanced protection. The domestic industry has already presented a number of interesting developments.
As noted by "RG: Russian weapons" , powerful four-axle all-wheel drive KamAZ-6350 all-terrain vehicles with armored cabins equipped with sleeping places, resistant to bullets, shell fragments and explosions of mines and land mines appeared in the zone of a special military operation.
The weight of such a car is 14300 kg, the load capacity is 10000 kg. The KamAZ 740.35-400 (Euro 2) engine is 400 hp. Fuel tanks with a total capacity of 375 liters are also protected.

According to Yuri Lyamin, senior researcher at the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (TSAST), armored KAMAZ trucks and Ural trucks first appeared in the Russian armed forces during the period when a limited contingent of Soviet troops was in Afghanistan.
Modern developments are made at a higher technical level and allow us to protect the lives and health of our servicemen more effectively.
Of course, it is impossible to ensure one hundred percent implementation of such protection, but the appearance of a variety of weapons of destruction supported by NATO countries requires the widespread implementation of these security measures," the military expert notes.
