JA1 Pulse
Jump Aero has announced an agreement with Falck Ambulance Services to create a new JA1 Pulse device for the fastest possible delivery of paramedics to the patient. Its concept has already been worked out and the basic characteristics are known. Such a car will not replace an ambulance, as it can move only one person, but it easily and quickly flies around typical obstacles.
Pulse uses vertical takeoff and landing, the person inside the gondola initially stands. After gaining altitude, the device tilts into a horizontal position and flies like an airplane, the passenger is lying inside at this time. The device is designed so that the struts of its propellers in horizontal flight form a semblance of biplane wings for better stability.
JA1 Pulse
The maximum flight speed reaches 460 km / h, the range is 50 km, the payload does not exceed 150 kg – this is a medic with his basic equipment. Pulse is transported on a small truck and gets ready for work in just a minute. Each of the eight motors has a separate battery for 11 kWh, they can be charged in parallel. The machine is capable of landing on slopes at an angle of up to 10 degrees. According to the concept, Pulse quickly delivers a specialist to the site to provide urgent assistance to the victims while the main team is moving through difficult terrain. It is also a kind of reconnaissance transport – in the presence of many victims in an area with difficult terrain, the doctor can quickly move between them, assess their condition and prioritize other doctors. The timing of the development of the JA1 Pulse is still unknown.
