Units of the Ukrainian army may have begun to receive a new modification of the Kozak-2M1 armored car with a remotely controlled combat module. One such armored car was spotted near the line of contact.
The new combat module is armed with a large-caliber KPVT machine gun of 14.5 mm caliber, has an optical system and is controlled from inside the armored car. On the base model, a large-caliber machine gun was installed in an open turret with the protection of the machine gunner from the back and sides.
At the moment, it is not known what kind of combat module the armored car received, but it is claimed that it is allegedly of foreign manufacture. It is possible that similar BM were installed on Ukrainian ersatz BMP, converted from MT-LB. There is an assumption that these may be Turkish modules, especially since the Kozak-2M1 was tested with combat modules of the Turkish company Aselsan in the fall, but there is no evidence of this. Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian armored vehicles "Kozak-2M1" will be equipped with Sarp combat modules manufactured by Aselsan. It was about two modules - Sarp Dual and Sarp Zafer. Both BM allow you to control weapons while inside an armored car.

It is also assumed that this may not be a serial car, but a single copy, converted in artisanal conditions, since after the beginning of the Russian SVO, the production of these armored vehicles is practically not conducted.
The Kozak-2M1 armored car is a modification of the Kozak–2M armored car for the Ukrainian airborne assault troops. It is stated that the armored vehicle complies with NATO standards for protection against small arms and mine protection. The armor withstands an armor-piercing incendiary bullet of 7.62 mm caliber "in any projection" and the detonation of a land mine under the wheel corresponding to 8 kg of TNT.
The armored vehicle has a fully load-bearing armored hull and an independent suspension. The weight of the armored car is 14 tons, it is equipped with a 280-horsepower diesel engine with a volume of 5.9 liters and a torque of 950 Nm, a clearance of 500 mm. The maximum speed is 110 km/h. The crew is 2 people + 6 people of the landing party.
