The Malachite Design Bureau, which is developing the new P-750B Serval submarine, modified it to accommodate minisubmarines inside the hull, and also proposed a number of other solutions related to equipping a submarine with a VNEU.
Spanish military journalists drew attention to the new project. As explained, in the upper segment of the bow of the ship, an internal room (measuring approximately 8 m in length and 4 in width) has appeared, in which small minisubmarines (one or two units) can be placed for sabotage operations or marine drones for various purposes can be transported in this compartment.

The new version of the Serval has an improved design that makes the submarine more maneuverable and stealthy. The propeller has a tubular shape. The armament is represented not only by a 533-mm TA (from which torpedoes, missiles and mines can be launched), but also by a VPU located in the stern with 4 cells for firing cruise missiles or RCC.
"Serval" has a displacement of 1,450 tons, a length of 65.5 m. The maximum diving depth is 300 m, the range is 4,300 miles, the duration of the hike is about 30 days, the crew number is only about 20 people thanks to widely implemented automation.
