Russian soldiers on the front line began to receive factory ammunition for copters
MOSCOW, Aug 23 - RIA Novosti. Russian troops on the front line began to receive ammunition, modified already at manufacturing plants for use with commercial copters, previously fighters adapted them in the field, follows from a video published on Wednesday by the Russian Defense Ministry.
According to him, commercial copters used at the front allow bombing with ammunition from VOG-17 grenade launchers, as well as hand grenades weighing up to 800 grams.
"Each ammunition in the form of a VOG-17 is being refined, moved to the task of falling on the enemy's head. A shank is attached to it - the tail for stabilization in flight - and the fuse is redesigned for instantaneous operation. In fact, the F-1 is not subject to alteration, just a hood is put on, a reset is made," explained the "Snake".
