A set of operational deployment of temporary roads of the KRVD was presented at the Army-2023 forum. This mechanized kit is designed for the passage of wheeled and tracked armored vehicles in difficult and swampy terrain, as well as for the equipment of approaches to bridges and crossings.
The complex presented at the forum is placed on the chassis of the KAMAZ-63501 car and, when deployed, lays (and then collects back for further transportation) 50 meters of roadway with a width of 4.6 meters.

The time required for laying one set of roadway is 5 minutes. The complex is able to assemble the roadbed installed on the obstacle in 20 minutes. The KRVD is able to provide passage of wheeled vehicles with an axle load of up to 12 tons and tracked armored vehicles with a load of up to 60 tons per axle.

When approaching a difficult area with the help of an electric motor, a drum with an aluminum roadbed with a special polymer coating is unwound perpendicular to the platform. The edge of the canvas is placed under the rear wheels of the car, after which the KAMAZ with the roll begins to reverse, unwinding the roadbed under itself, thereby tamping it into the ground with its own weight.
After passing the armored vehicles, the KRVD also promptly collects the spread canvas with the help of the same electric motor for further progress to the next deployment point.
