The universal unmanned boat developed in Russia was presented within the framework of the Army-2023 forum

In Russia, a new unmanned boat has been developed to perform various tasks, the vessel is based on a platform of the type "Vizir". This was announced by the managing director of KMZ Holding (Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant) Mikhail Danilenko at the Army-2023 forum.

Designed by KMZ, the unmanned boat is versatile and can be used to perform various tasks. It has a power reserve of 600 km at low speeds, with an increase in speed, the cruising range decreases, but it is possible to accelerate the boat to 80 km / h. The armament or other equipment required for installation on the boat is selected by the customer. In the strike version, the boat can carry a combat module with a large-caliber machine gun or light missiles.

For the tasks of an unmanned attack boat, it is possible to make a design, including with an electric drive: that is, the main engine, batteries and the ability to ensure low speed in economical modes. It will be a hybrid engine. As a weapon against, for example, drones, you can put a large-caliber machine gun and light missiles on it

Also within the framework of the forum, KMZ presented the unmanned hydrographic boat GRK 700 "Vizir", designed to survey the coastal zone and the bottom. This vessel carries all the necessary equipment for this. The Vizir can also be used as a reconnaissance boat and for patrolling. A positioning system is installed on the boat, so it can independently return to the base, deliver troops or cargo to the designated point.
