Information about the first flight of Sirius is published by the TASS news agency with reference to the Kronstadt company, which participates, among others, at the Army-2023 international military-technical forum.
To date, flight tests of this shock twin-engine UAV are continuing.
The functionality of the drone allows it to carry on board various weapons of destruction, including aircraft missiles, correctable and conventional ("gravity") bombs. This armament allows him to hit enemy ground fortifications, armored vehicles, and clusters of personnel. With the help of aviation missiles, Sirius is capable of hitting aerial targets, including enemy helicopters and drones.
In addition, Sirius can be used as an effective means of reconnaissance, including as a search and observation means over the sea area.
Earlier it was reported that the serial production of Sirius attack UAVs will begin before the end of 2023.
