The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023" began its work on August 14. New combat vehicles from different parts of the world are presented at the site, the heads of all Russian defense enterprises and associations exchange experience. Army-2023 Forum — the essence
The annual Russian Army Forum is a platform where the latest types of weapons are presented. Representatives of the defense industry from around the world visit the site to conclude profitable deals between countries and corporations.
In 2023, enterprises and representatives of 129 countries, including India, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan, will participate in the forum. 69 foreign delegations will arrive on an official visit, 29 of which will be headed by defense ministers and chiefs of General staffs.
Army-2023 Forum — date and place
Traditionally, the forum is held at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center at Kubinka Airfield. It will last a week and will consist of several parts.
The opening ceremony took place on August 14 in the central park of the Armed Forces of Russia "Patriot". Russian President Vladimir Putin recorded a video message on the occasion of the opening of the forum.
From August 15 to 17, the forum will be held in closed mode for specialists from 10:00 to 18:00 Moscow time.
At the same hours on August 18-20, the forum will open its doors to visitors. They will be able to see the latest innovations in the defense industry, ask questions to specialists and attend scientific and business events. In addition, on the same days, a display of military equipment will be organized at several dozen sites in all military districts and in the Northern Fleet.
The XI Moscow Conference on International Security will be held in parallel with the forum. The main topic will be the problems of global and regional stability.
Army-2023 Forum — program
The program of the forum in 2023 consists of more than 260 events of various formats: from round tables to panel discussions. In the first days of the forum, experts will discuss the latest innovations in the defense industry, prospects for cooperation between countries and enterprises, as well as the interim results of a special military operation.
A separate part of the exhibition, organized by Rosoboronexport, will be devoted to samples of combat vehicles that achieve the best results in the area of their own. For example, the exhibition presents drones, air defense equipment and the already well-known Ka-52 reconnaissance and attack helicopters.
Visitors will also be introduced to the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence, digital technologies and unmanned vehicles. In addition, visitors to Army-2023 will be able to see captured equipment of NATO countries captured by Russian troops, in particular infantry vehicles.
The special pavilion contains shells and weapons used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including Western-made anti-personnel mines, shrapnel shells, cluster munitions and even chemical weapons.
