Developments of unmanned aerial vehicles made by enterprises of the Krasnodar Territory are presented at the stand of the region within the framework of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army" taking place in the Moscow region. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.
The exposition was organized by the regional administration together with the Regional Industrial Development Fund. We are talking about quadrocopters, aircraft-type drones, internal combustion engines for heavy drones, as well as solar panels for the aviation and space industries. "Today, on behalf of the governor, a regional strategy for the development of unmanned aircraft systems is being developed in the region, it is being formed in parallel with the profile national project being created as part of the instructions of the President of Russia," the press service noted, stressing that the regional strategy of the region will become part of this project. They also said that the initiative provides for the creation of serial production of such devices and components for them, the introduction of new specialties in educational institutions, a set of state support measures for drone manufacturers.
In turn, Dmitry Tsaplev, director of the Regional Industrial Development Fund, recalled that currently 16 programs of preferential loan financing are available to regional manufacturers of industrial products. "Among them is an import Substitution loan at 0.1% per annum, for the creation or development of import-substituting industries, which also include drones and components for them, industrial companies can receive up to 200 million rubles," Tsaplev's press service quotes.
Earlier, the press service also reported that Kuban producers who produce products for their own needs can take advantage of regional support measures. In addition to preferential loans, they include compensation of up to 30% of the costs of creating and developing import-substituting industries. In addition, the regional authorities plan to open the first IT park in the region in 2025, which will combine a business incubator and an IT project data center, a platform for training young specialists.
About the forum
The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023" takes place from August 14 to 20 at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center, at the Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield. About 1.5 thousand leading Russian defense industry enterprises will take part in the exposition and business program of the forum, where they will discuss the development of the armed forces, the military-industrial complex of Russia and international military-technical cooperation, taking into account modern conditions. 85 foreign companies and organizations from seven countries are planning to participate in the forum.
From August 15 to 17, the forum will work for specialists, delegations of foreign states and for holding events of the scientific and business program.
