Earlier it was reported about a series of attacks by militants of the Kiev regime on Russian ships, committed using unmanned boats. As a rule, the attacks were carried out with the help of Ukrainian Magura V5 marine drones, capable of reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h and attacking objects at a maximum range of up to 800 kilometers.
The marine drone used by Ukrainian militants is capable of carrying up to 300 kilograms of explosives. When submerged in water, the part of the drone protruding above the waterline does not exceed 50 centimeters, which allows the marine drone to almost completely visually merge with the sea background.
Kiev calls these UAVs a Ukrainian development, but the drones used by militants to attack Russian ships are almost completely equipped with Western-made parts. In addition, the American Starlink satellite Internet system is used for remote control of the drone.
