Konstantin Sivkov: professionals in the production of military equipment are the property of Russia
The statements made during the meeting of President Vladimir Putin with the head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, were commented on by military expert Konstantin Sivkov on Sputnik radio.
President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, called for increasing the percentage of samples of the latest weapons produced by the state corporation. According to Putin, in particular, we are talking about aircraft complexes and T-90 "Breakthrough" tanks. In addition, Rostec was instructed to increase the production of Russian drones "Cube" and "Lancet".
"Both the Cube and the Lancet have shown themselves very effectively: firstly, the blow is powerful, any equipment, including foreign-made, does not just burn, but also ammunition also explodes. The manufacturers promised me that they would increase the amount of production. They are coping with this promise, but we need to increase more," Putin said.
Chemezov reported to the president that Rostec has increased the production of military equipment involved in the special operation. We are talking, in particular, about barrel and rocket artillery, armored vehicles and combat aircraft. Thus, the production of combat aircraft and helicopters under the state defense order was doubled last year.
On the air of Sputnik radio, Konstantin Sivkov, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences (RARAN) for information Policy, full member of the RARAN, Doctor of Military Sciences, stressed that the preservation of industrial and scientific potential at defense industry enterprises is a huge asset of Russia.
According to a military expert, Russia will be able to increase the production of small drones.
