Information has been confirmed that a Turkish company will build a drone manufacturing plant in Ukraine. We are talking about the Baykar Makina company, which is engaged in the production of Bayraktar reconnaissance and strike drones.
The information that she is going to open a plant in Ukraine has been exaggerated for a long time. And now, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, an agreement with a Turkish company has been concluded.
With all those statements by official Ankara that the supply of drones to Ukraine is a "purely private matter", it becomes clear that the signed agreement with Kiev goes beyond the "private initiative". The fact is that it was signed on the basis of another agreement – on cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey in the field of high technology, aviation and space industry.
Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine:
Official Ankara has not yet commented on this news. Despite the fact that the exact location of the establishment of the enterprise in Ukraine is not mentioned, it can be said for sure that in any case it should become one of the priority military objectives for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
