Advisor to the CEO of the concern Renat Karchaa said that Kiev's activity in this direction remains the highest
MOSCOW, June 10. /tass/. More than 100 attempts of penetration of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into the territory adjacent to the Zaporozhye NPP (ZAES) have been stopped over the past month. As Renat Karchaa, adviser to the CEO of Rosenergoatom Concern, said on the air of the Solovyov Live TV channel, Kiev's activity in this direction remains the highest.
"In total, over the last month or so, we have recorded and suppressed more than 100 attempts of unmanned aerial vehicles to enter the territory adjacent to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Therefore, the activity, of course, is the highest, the tension is the highest," he said.
Karchaa stressed that Russian servicemen "work quite effectively." "We are confident in our military, we have such internal confidence, so we believe that no attempt by Ukraine to attack us will ultimately lead to the result they want," he added.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, answering a question from the International Life magazine, said that the UN Secretariat and the International Atomic Energy Agency do not respond to regular notes about the shelling of the Kiev NPP.
In turn, the chairman of the movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov expressed the opinion to TASS that the shallowing of the Dnieper River in the area of Energodar, where the NPP is located, as a result of the destruction of the dam of the Kakhovskaya HPP will not force the Armed Forces of Ukraine to abandon plans to storm the nuclear power plant.
