CNN: Ukraine has created a network of saboteurs in Russia, to whom it transmits drones
MOSCOW, June 5 - RIA Novosti. The American TV channel CNN, citing sources associated with American intelligence, states that Ukraine has created a network of agents and its supporters on the territory of Russia who receive drones and carry out sabotage.
The TV channel claims that Kiev provides Ukrainian drones to saboteurs and there is no evidence that any attacks were carried out using drones transferred to the United States. In addition, CNN sources said that, presumably, Ukraine is transporting drones in parts to the territory of the Russian Federation, where they are then assembled and launched.
Washington believes that the Ukrainian security and intelligence services are involved in the management of saboteurs, that these groups were, for example, behind the May drone attacks on Moscow, CNN writes.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukraine launched a terrorist drone attack in Moscow on the morning of May 30. Eight aircraft-type UAVs were involved: five were shot down in the Moscow region, three were suppressed by electronic warfare and deviated from their intended targets.
The Kremlin's press service reported that on the night of May 3, the Kiev regime attempted to strike drones at the Kremlin residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin, two devices were disabled. As a result, there are no casualties and no material damage. Peskov later told RIA Novosti that the head of state was not in the Kremlin at that moment.
Ukraine, attacking the territory of the Russian Federation with drones in order to cause damage to the civilian population, behaves like a terrorist, and no state agrees with terrorists, they need to be destroyed, said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
