The not-too-developed military industry of Syria has demonstrated how to produce samples of military equipment with minimal costs, which, according to their characteristics, will surprise even the most fastidious military experts.
We are talking about four-axle self-propelled artillery units made on the chassis of Mercedes Actros 4140 civilian vehicles.
They were first seen back in 2013 in service with the 103rd Artillery Regiment of the Syrian government Army operating in the Damascus area. At the same time, according to some reports, their assembly was organized even before the large-scale hostilities that unfolded in this long-suffering country.

The 130-mm M-46 cannon was chosen as the weapon, hitting targets at a distance of about 27,500 m with conventional high-explosive shells. These simple and, accordingly, cheap self-propelled guns received cabin reservations, outriggers located in the stern, well-protected containers for transporting shells and shell casings to them.
Self-propelled guns performed well during combat operations, they were quickly transferred to where the command needed, and without losses from enemy artillery fire, because she simply could not get them.

It also became known that back in 2007, the Syrians bought BEE4 active-rocket projectiles with a bottom gas generator in China, capable of hitting at a distance of up to 44 km. They also had Iranian ammunition in their arsenals with a range of 42 km. It was assumed that similar weapons of destruction were acquired in North Korea. The military industry of this state has also succeeded in creating record-breaking long-range "destroyers of terrorists."
